I'm a writer, editor, ceramist and most recently a silk artist. Most of my writing is based around SF Fantasy and Horror, as well as non-fiction such as interviews with authors. More recently I've been making inroads into writing articles about donkeys, especially mammoth donkeys that are being bred here in Australia now, though I'm also happy to chat about horses. I'm good on theory but not on practice, having never owned a horse, though I have asspriations (pun intended!) of owning a donkey I can ride and drive. I have a penchant for the Marx Brothers, think combining humour with SF or fantasy is out of this world, and can't read Terry Pratchett books as fast as TP can write them! I also like reading stuff by Aussie writers Anna Tambour, Sean Williams, Simon Brown & Kim Wilkins and o/seas writers Douglas Adams, Terry Pratchett and Alistair Reynolds. Oh, and I'm fascinated by dolphins and whales. Being a self-confessed "Whale Geek" won me two free drinks at the bar on a ship cruising Alaska's Inside Passage last year!I like the music of the Beatles, and the celtic-rock band, Big Country.
